- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
Stir in the vanilla extract
Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in the finely chopped nuts, ensuring they are coated
Place the nut-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each
Use your thumb or a small spoon to create an indentation in the center of each dough ball
Fill each indentation with a small amount of strawberry jam, about 1/2 teaspoon each
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
Once the cookies are completely cooled, the jam will set and the cookies are ready to be enjoyed!
